The REZABOITE SLABis a made-to-measure box for making openings in the floor for service ducts. Laterally anchored in the concrete the formwork bottom enables the structural opening to be stopped up immediately.
So long as the product stays in its original position the workers can walk over it in complete safety.
Any use for other purposes must be subject to a special case study.
During the work packages the cover, the internal reinforcements, and the beltare dismantled. The opening of the structural opening should be protected in such cases until it is stopped up.
The REZABOITE is delivered on site ready to use. The slab is poured around the REZABOITE. During work packages the lid is removed as well as the belt and the internal reinforcements. Only the formwork bottom is left.
The formwork bottom is then pierced/sectioned to let the service ducts through. The structural opening is stopped up immediately without any prior reinstallation of the formwork.
The tests performed under the control of the VERITAS consultancy prove that the REZABOITE SLAB resists a static load of 700kg minimum. The tests were carried out with structural openings of various dimensions and at various stages of aging of the concrete (young concrete and 30-day concrete).

The tests performed under the control of the VERITAS consultancy prove that the REZABOITE SLABwith formwork bottom safety cables resists a weight of 100Kg dropped from the height of 1 to 2 metres. The tests were carried out with structural openings of various dimensions and with various cable safety systems.
All the test reports are available on line on request.
The static and dynamic resistance tests are only valid for the REZABOITES with an integrated formwork bottom system. Therefore, the results cannot be applied to the products without a formwork bottom (REZABOITE NETWORK, GIRAFE, GALETTE, and STANDARD)
